Jimmy, better known as “Salt N Pepper,” is the studio manager and an award-winning body piercer at Steel Rod Tattoo in Indianapolis. Since beginning his piercing apprenticeship here in 2019, he’s built a reputation for quality work, attention to detail, and making clients feel right at home.

Jimmy specializes in everything from standard nose, lip, eyebrow, and navel piercings to more advanced work, including industrials, microdermals, and genital piercings. Whether it’s your first piercing or your twentieth, Jimmy’s goal is to make the experience comfortable, memorable, and hopefully good for a few laughs.

For Jimmy, piercing isn’t just about putting another hole in someone. It’s about making people smile and sending them out the door feeling good about themselves.

Outside the shop, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren and helping his wife with her custom merchandise business.
